A little cube. A whole world of colour.

Hold it up to a window, give it a gentle turn, and let the colour discoveries begin. The Original CMY Cube transforms everyday light into an ever-changing exploration of cyan, magenta and yellow, with unexpected shades blooming wherever the colours overlap.

One moment you're looking through a sunny yellow face. The next, a twist reveals a new colour combination. It's a small invitation to slow down, follow your curiosity and see the familiar world through a wonderfully different lens.

Curiosity you can turn over in your hands

• Explore colour mixing: discover how the three subtractive primary colours, cyan, magenta and yellow, combine as you twist and turn the cube.
• Bring STEAM ideas to life: explore real optics and physics through a playful, hands-on experience.
• Discover something new with every angle: look through overlapping faces and watch different colours emerge.

How the colour magic works

Each face of the optically clear cube is sealed with a subtractive colour filter. Viewed individually, the faces appear cyan, magenta or yellow. Look through two or three faces together and the filters stack, subtracting wavelengths from white light to reveal a spectrum of new colours. No magic wand required, just light and a little curiosity.
